Destination : South eastern New Brunswick
From Memramcook to Shediac.. including: Miramichi - Bouctouche - Shediac - Moncton - Dieppe


This destination is known for its key attractions (Pays de la Sagouine, Shediac Bay Cruise), its "unique" natural environment (Bouctouche dunes, Hopewell Rocks, Bay of Fundy), its beaches and Shediac's "vacation" atmosphere. Destination : Yarmouth and Acadian Shores
Grand-Pré - Pointe-de-l'Église - Metaghan - Pubnico - Yarmouth


The Yarmouth and Acadia Shores destination is shaped by the sea and is known for its strong fishing industry, the region's main economic activity. The ever-present Baie Sainte-Marie dominates the atmosphere of this magnificent region and partly explains the serenity of the local Acadians. The Acadians' vibrant culture can be seen in the Argyle region, in the Village of Pubnico, in museums and interpretation centres, in the cuisine (fresh seafood), in festivals and in the work of local artists and craftspeople.

The Acadian Shores drive begins with a tour of Grand-Pré (the national historic site commemorating the Acadians' mass deportation of 1755) and Port Royal (the first French settlement in Canada).

Destination : Cape Breton - Chéticamp
Chéticamp - Grand Étang - Belle Côte

The Cape Breton - Chéticamp area borders the Atlantic Ocean and features the Cabot Trail, one of the most spectacular drives in North America. Nature is a big part of the life of Cape Breton Acadians. This region offers many ecotourism opportunities (whale excursions, Bras d'Or Lake and Skyline Trail). This destination has a vibrant cultural life, which can be seen in its artistic performances and traditions (Mi-carême and hooked rug-making).

Destination : Acadie des Terres et des Forêts
D'Edmundston à Grand-Sault, Saint-Basile et Saint-Quentin


La grande région du Madawaska est une Acadie des terres et des forêts. Blottie dans les magnifiques vallées de la chaîne des Appalaches, source de la grande rivière Saint-Jean, cette Acadie dont les racines s'étendent au Québec et aux États-Unis reflète aujourd'hui un métissage de cultures acadiennes, amérindiennes, québécoises et américaines.
Crosses de fougères, truites et saumons accompagnent les ployes (crêpes de sarrasin typique de la région) et les pommes de terre, une culture agricole qui a donné naissance à la multinationale McCain.
Visitez le Jardin botanique du N.-B., découvrez les chutes et gorges de Grand-Sault, rencontrez les talents d'ici au spectacle de l'Acadie des Terres et des Forêts en Fête, amusez-vous à la Foire brayonne, mais surtout ne manquez pas le prochain Congrès mondial acadien qui se déroulera du 8 au 24 août 2014.
